Recent News Release Kenneth Cotlar, Ebensburg artist, was invited to participate as an expert panelist in the Creative Careers Seminar held Friday November 11th at Carnegie Mellon University. Mr. Cotlar was recognized as a successful independent fine artist. This seminar was a collection of thirteen colleges and universities striving to bring together artists for panel discussions about their careers in the arts and to provide professionals' advice and opinions to help and encourage college students majoring in the arts. Participating institutions included Carnegie Mellon, University of Pittsburgh, Art Institute of Pittsburgh, California University of PA, Chatham University, Duquesne University, Geneva College, Grove City College, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Juniata College, Point Park University, Saint Vincent College, Washington & Jefferson College, Westminster College. Kenneth Cotlar is an award winning painter, a member of Allied Artists of Johnstown, Art in Common - Blair County, and The Pittsburgh Society of Artists. He just completed a one man exhibit at the Fein Art Gallery in Pittsburgh, and currently has several paintings included in the AAJ Annual Exhibit at SAMA / Pasquerilla Performing Arts Center. |
